Solange Knowles breaks her silence about the viral video of her & brother in-law/music icon Jay-Z fighting in a hotel elevator.
Not long after the security footage of Solange smacking the hell out of Jay-Z in a elevator (while Beyoncé watched) surfaced, the Cater- Knowles family released a joint statement asking people to respect their privacy.
Since then, Solange hasn’t spoken a word about it publicly…. until she sat down with Lucky Magazine back in May.
Solange didn’t really acknowledge it head on, referring to it as “That thing” & said “What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
I still think it was a career booster, since she has an album coming out this fall with Saint Records.
